Tasting notes

This wine is vibrant ruby red in colour and has lively aromas of strawberries, plums and cherries combined with balsamic and floral nuances. It is medium-bodied, with round tannins and a balanced, lively acidity, which makes this an extremely appealing wine that can be served as an aperitif or enjoyed with food.

Vintage information

The 2018 vintage was marked by extreme weather that affected the vegetative cycle. October was very dry, while winter and spring were cold and rainy with an elevated risk of disease requiring more intense work in the vineyard. Summer was fairly warm and dry which resulted in a small reduction of yield. However, the grapes that were harvested were very healthy and produced fresh wines of great quality.
